Biography
Jaemyung received his B.P.E. in Sports, Health, and Rehabilitation and an M.A. in Natural Science in Sports from Kookmin University, Seoul, Korea. He also received his M.P.H in Biostatistics and Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon. In his dissertation, Jae explored the associations between wrist-worn accelerometer-determined physical activity behaviors and mortality among US adults. He is deeply interested in objective assessment of human behavior and exploring its associations with various health outcomes for diverse populations. Passionate about assessing physical activity patterns for women during pregnancy and improving maternal health through research, Jae is excited to contribute to the lab's mission.
